No baby today!
Well, I just got back from the doctor's and...no baby today! My cervix hasn't changed enough for them to deliver today, so we go back again next Tuesday. We'll have a sonogram then to check on Lincoln, fluid levels and all that stuff and they'll check to see if there has been any more cervical change. Based on that, he may go ahead and deliver then or else wait until the 17th. We'll just have to wait and see!
My blood pressure was pretty high today, though. After laying on my left side for quite a while they got it down some, but it was still kind of high. So, I'm not on full bed rest, but I am supposed to be laying on my left side as much as possible and not doing as much. Which is really hard to do when Ellie has now decided that walking is the ONLY way to get around and likes to get into everything very quickly!
Justin has an interview at work for this new position next Friday morning, so it may be in his (our) best interest if Lincoln can hold off until the 17th and Justin can have ample time to prepare for the interview. That, of course, means I will be pregnant FOREVER, but it will be worth it if he gets the job!

I'm sorry that you are going through contractions all the time and haven't gotten to meet Lincoln yet. But, it does sound like this is better for Lincoln and Justin both to hopefully wait until April 17th. I know that probably doesn't make you very happy, but hopefully that means that I will get to see you and Ellie tomorrow! I am sure she is so cute walking around. She is getting so big!! Thanks for the continued updates and you are still in my thoughts and prayers. Good luck with everything!
