Day at the Museum
On Friday, Justin, Ellie and I went to the Children's Discovery Museum and it was so much fun! She had the most fun with things that we probably could have done at home, but we still had a great time getting out and she loved watching all the other kids, too! She was playing at the magnet area in this picture. We'll have to remember to get more magnets! :-)
Justin held Ellie up to this "nail wall" where you can make impressions, you can see her impression below. It was hilarious! You can tell she really liked us messing with her to make the impression!
She LOVED the water table! She loves to play in the water, so we figured she would really like this area! She loved to watch the older kids splash around in the water, too!

You can tell she was really into grabbing everything that floated by! She was diving for a turtle in this picture! She didn't fall in, don't worry!
She also really liked playing in the store area and pushing around the shopping cart and picking up things to put in her cart. We had a lot of apples and strawberries in the cart! :-)
We didn't stay at the museum very long but we had a great time while we were there! It made us really excited to think about the coming years and getting to take Ellie and Lincoln to fun places like this! I am so glad that we live in a town that offers places like this for us to take the kids, it was so much fun!
And, just in case anyone else is counting, as of this moment, we have 15 days, 21 hours, and 29 minutes until Lincoln arrives! YEA!!!!!!
