Lincoln Update!
Thank you so much for your prayers, thoughts and concern! We have good news!
Lincoln grew A LOT in the last week! Yea! Even though the growth had slowed down a lot the last few weeks, everything caught up this last week and Lincoln looked really good in the sonogram and my uterus looked like it had grown quite a bit, too! YEA!!! So, at this point in time, Dr. Nord said that if the growth continues like it did in the last week, he thinks we'll make it to April 17 as planned (I'll be 38 weeks then) and that would be GREAT! Dr. Nord was really happy with the growth and how things progressed in the last week...thank you, God! :-)
The only slightly negative thing was that I have lost another 2 1/2 pounds in the last week. While that may seem really great to some people, it's not so good when I keep losing weight because I can't keep anything down! So I've lost over 7 pounds in the last 4 weeks and the sonogram today said that Lincoln weighs approximately 5 lb 8 oz! Kind of crazy that I've lost 1 1/2 pounds more than he weighs in the last month! So, although that's pretty frustrating, it at least explains why I always feel so worn down and exhausted! Dr. Nord said that anything that my body is keeping down is going directly to Lincoln to keep him growing! So, I'm not getting nourished by anything, but in a few weeks that will change! And Lincoln is growing strong, so we'll be happy with that! :-)
The sonogram was lots of fun today and Ellie came with us! She kept smiling, clapping and laughing while we were watching it on the screen! I'm not sure that she knew that was her little brother, but she seemed happy just the same! :-)
That's it on the homefront for now! I need to get some rest! Ellie's party is this SUNDAY and I'm so excited! I can't believe she's almost one year old! Okay...okay...so we're having the party two and a half weeks early...but still! She's almost there! :-)
I'll try to post pictures later. We had a really fun day on Sunday with Caleb's first birthday party and Adam's 30th birthday party! Yea! Have a good one and thanks again for your thoughts and prayers...they made a HUGE difference!

Congratulations, guys! That is great news! I am glad that everything looked better this week. Hopefully things will still go as planned and Lincoln will arrive on April 17. I am a little bummed that I won't get to meet Lincoln at Easter, but that is for the best and I will be ready to meet him at Brit's wedding! Thanks for the updates and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers! Love you and miss you, Katie!!
