Fun Weekend!
Lots of pictures today, folks! We had a really fun weekend at "Mimi and P's " house! Andy and Lindsey came home for the weekend, so we decided to stay there, too! We had a lot of fun at it was nice to all be home!
This is just too cute! She's been doing this limp wrist thing lately. Sometimes she does it when she's trying to sign "all done" but then she just randomly does it and starts laughing! You can see her two little teeth pretty well in this picture, too!
This was on Sunday. Mom made a great lunch (of course) and Ellie ate some of it and then Mimi fed her cake! So she thoroughly enjoyed her cake for lunch! :-)
On Sunday afternoon, we had a little family time in the park! Justin, Ellie and I went to the park across the street from Mom and Dad's and played on the swings and the slides. She had never been in a swing before and she was laughing the whole time. Scrunch face, here, of course! And she was squinting even more because the sun was in her eyes. I didn't bring her sunglasses, I guess I'll have to start doing that!
More playing in the park!
She's starting to drive already! Oh no!
Ellie and Grand-p had a really good time together this weekend. I'm pretty sure she has him wrapped around her little finger! She decided that he needed to eat some of her cracker, too!
Here's Ellie and Lindsey! They had a lot of fun together!
Aw...Ellie and Uncle Andy! She just laughed and laughed at him all weekend! I was so glad that they got to spend time together, it makes me sad that they don't get to see all the fun things she does all the time!
Lindsey, if you are reading this....don't get any ideas! You guys look really cute holding ELLIE, but you don't need to fill her place with your own little one, yet! :-)
Friday night we watched the game (Go Illini!) and then hung out together. Saturday, I was SO GLAD that we were there for many reasons! First of all, it was really nice to be able to rest some, while Ellie was getting worn out by her aunt, uncle and grandparents! Then we went to a pancake breakfast at church, Abe's and Three Roses (always a must stop, especially when Lindsey is in town!) and came home! The Greens showed up shortly after that and then more madness ensued! :-) We watched the game again (not so good this time, Illinois, but I'm glad you made it to the Big Dance) and went to eat at GUZZARDOS! Yea! We finished off the evening with a highly energetic (for lack of a better word) theological discussion and a game of Cranium! Let me just tell you that with Dad, Andy, Nicki, and the rest of the crew....any discussion we have is quite animated! :-) Sunday we went to church, enjoyed a fantastic lunch and then went to the park! We had to watch the selection show (of course) while Mom and Dad were at DANCE CLASS (isn't that the cutest thing ever!?) and then had pizza while we watched the Reality Trip episodes for Worldview Eyes. :-)
Hope everyone else had a good weekend! It was nice to get away for a few days...now I have to try to put my house back together and unpack! :-)
