It's coming!
Well...Ellie won't let me take a picture of it, but she's getting her first tooth! This is exciting news because the average age to start to get teeth is 7 months and Ellie will be 10 months next week. Lots of kids don't get their teeth until after their first birthday, so I wasn't worried, but I'm glad that she's getting her first tooth!
Every morning I check her mouth to see if she got a tooth overnight (which is probably ridiculous, but I do it anyway). This morning...no sign of a tooth. However, when she woke up from her nap this afternoon, I thought I saw a smidgen of white on her gums. So I felt around in her mouth and SURPRISE!!!! There was a sharp little tooth underneath my finger! It's so exciting! She won't even let us see it, but you can certainly feel the sharp little thing in there!
So I will post pictures of the tooth soon...hopefully, but until then, we can rejoice that she will at least have one tooth before she becomes a big sister! :-)

YEAH!! Aunt Jill told us tonight that she was working on one, but it is MUCH better for everyone after it comes in. Especially because they act SO much better : ) Jackson got 2 last week . . . . we are up to 7 now! But he only had 2 for more than 5 months and then they have been coming in like crazy! How exciting . . . it makes all the crabbiness worth it : )
