Yea for SNOW!
Yea for the SNOW! It's so beautiful here and we've been enjoying telling Ellie all about snow, but everytime she looks outside, she squints up her little eyes! I think it's a little bright for her! :-) But it is beautiful! So since we are snowed in, I've gotten quite a few things done this morning. As you can tell, I have figured out how to get pictures on my computer now. To everyone (especially Kelsey and Autumn) you can now be assured that this blog will be updated much more frequently. :-) So, on with the show... the first picture was taken this morning! Ellie was playing in her pack n play while I was figuring out the camera/computer issues.
This is her Halloween costume, which is really cute in my opinion. That may have something to do with the fact that I MADE IT! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, in honor of my Grandma Odom, I got out her sewing machine and sewed her Halloween costume with my own two hands. It was by far the most domestic thing I have ever done. Nevermind the fact that I found the absolute most difficult fabric to try sewing with (thick pink fur!) but it turned out quite nicely. What you don't see in this picture is the large pink satin bows that I added at the end. They were around each ear and they were very cute. However, I did not have it ALL together when we took this picture. Anyway, here she is with her little boyfriend Caleb, who was as you can see, a sweetpea!
This was from a while ago, but it's still fun. Every year, we go with Justin's parents to the Covered Bridge Festival in Indiana. Last year, we were unable to go because I was puking-my- guts-out-sick with Ellie. However, this year I'm not as sick with this pregnancy. So we went! It was so much fun! Ellie got her first experience at the Covered Bridge Festival and we got all our favorite foods from the festival! :-) All I have to say is that if that if I am pregnant AGAIN next year at the Covered Bridge Festival....well....I don't really want to think about that.
And finally, this was taken on Thanksgiving. We had a long, but fun, weekend over Thanksgiving. By the time Saturday came around, Ellie was VERY tired and had trouble getting to sleep. So her good Daddy sang to her and rocked her to sleep. This was a quick picture I snapped in the process. She's so precious. So in other updates...we find out on December 12 if we are having a boy or a girl! YEA!!! We are getting really excited for this! The baby has been kicking a lot the last few days, so I'm hoping that he/she is very active for our appointment on the 12th. Justin and I are planning to move sometime in December, unless the apartment that I really want ends up being available on January 1 (it's all in the same complex, it would just be on the lowest level). Anyway, we'll see what happens. Other than that, everything is normal (as normal as can I be suppose). We're so excited for the holidays with Ellie this year. She won't remember anything from this year I'm sure (which is why we are buying her a new car seat...shhh....don't tell her) but it is still going to be fun! :-)
Hope everyone is doing well!

Great pictures . . . and love the bunny costume! Connie had it with her one time and showed it to us, but we didn't get to see Ellie in it for the full effect. Looking forward to the big news on the 12th! And the saga over names : ) Take care! Kristin
