Christmas!
Well... we're back at home, but we haven't unpacked all our bags yet...I've almost finished, though! It was so great to see family and friends over the holiday and we're looking forward to seeing even more loved ones. We still have one more Christmas (with my Dad's side on Saturday! Yea!) but here are a few pictures of what has happened so far!
We had a great first Christmas with Ellie! She has been having a difficult time sleeping lately (since we moved) which is NOT common Ellie behavior, however it did not deter her from opening presents and LOVING Christmas! On Christmas Eve we went to an INCREDIBLE service at our church (over 90 baptisms and the music was amazing) and then headed to Tower Hill. We had Christmas with Justin's immediate family first and then headed to the Jackson/Mundell Christmas. It was hilarious and make sure you ask Justin what his grab bag gift was! ;-) Then we went to the Young Christmas and that was great, too. There were over 53 people crammed in Grandpa Young's house and for a pregnant woman, along with everyone else, it was VERY HOT. But we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there and then headed home.
Christmas morning we woke up and I fixed a big breakfast and we had our own little Christmas at home. We read Ellie "The Very First Christmas". It was a book that Bill and Brenda Gayer got me for my first Christmas, so it was fun to read to Ellie. Then we headed to Lincoln and had Christmas with the Odom side of the family. It was so nice to be in Lincoln and have Grandpa there since he just moved in with Mom and Dad. So we stayed in Lincoln last night and came back home today. Here's a recap in pictures:
Ellie got this really fun caterpillar from Nonnie and Grandpa Young. She LOVED it!
Here is Ellie and Daddy unwrapping a present. She loved the paper and tissue!
This is Ellie with Jill's fiance Jason (to be married in late May) and his dog, Roxy. If you haven't seen Ellie make this scruchy face yet then you need to. She makes it all the time and we're not sure what it means, but it certainly makes us smile! :-)
And of course, the little man received several presents as well. We can't wait to meet this little guy! And...as a side note, Justin and I are having a VERY difficult time with names. If anyone has any suggestions (hint hint Autumn and Kelsey) please, let us know! :-)
And here is Ellie with Grandpy ("P"). They LOVE playing the piano together!

Ellie was charming Greatma and everyone else all weekend. Here's that scrunch face again! So funny!
This is my Mom and Dad. I would say that's not a good representation of my Dad, but I would be lying. Of course he put the witch's hat on his head...it's my dad! Nicki, Greg, Andy, Lindsey, Justin and I all went in together and got them tickets to see Wicked in Chicago and to eat at the Melting Pot. They were so excited and we are excited for them!
And finally, after all this madness, all Ellie and I (and Justin) want to do is rest! We're praying that she adjusts to this new place VERY quickly because we need our sleep!

Hey guys! Thanks for the update after Christmas. You know that I have been checking the blog 10 times a day and looking forward to that! The pictures are really cute, Ellie is adorable. You have a very good looking family, and that will only get better in April! Speaking of that, I have some boys names that I like in case you need my help. They are... Evan, Ethan, Owen, Connor, Colin and Trent. That is all I can think of right now. If I think of any more, I will let you know. Hopefully it helps. Thanks for the update and have a great weekend!!

Hi there! I'm glad Ellie had a good first Christmas! It was so fun getting to see her at our "girls lunch" last week. She is so cute! As for baby boy names...Kelsey has some good ones and I will try to come up with more. Feel free to give us a list of some that you are thinking of and we will vote! But you better not tell us if they are Justin's or Katie's ideas because I will probably be biased and go with Katie! haha! Anyways...enjoy New Years Weekend and as always, thanks for the updates! Oh..and I want to know what Justin's grab bag gift was!

So great to see you guys on Sunday! And yes, the scrunchy Ellie face is ADORABLE : ) I can't believe Justin took that grab bag! You better hide it or next Christmas you might find yourself with child once again, ha!! : ) Take care . . . and looking forward to the name decision!
