Elmo is growing...

As you can clearly see, Ellie is growing. Today, I bought our first package of SIZE TWO diapers. That's right, ladies and gentlemen, I said SIZE TWO.

This is massive growth in Ellie-world.

When Ellie was first born, she was wearing the diaper on left, small in size, yet still almost too big for her little frame. After about 5-6 weeks, we started to notice that those diapers were not quite holding it all in, so we started to size ones. At that time, I was kind of surprised that she had stayed in the newborn size for so long and I was (kind of) okay with it.

Then today came. So today I went to Toys R Us to use part of my gift certificate that I received from my (Katie's) co-workers (thank you very much State Farm Bank). Being more cost-conscientious these days, I look to the economy size Pampers Swaddlers (which are the only diapers that hold in Ellie's business, trust me). Upon investigation and consultation with Justin, I decide to get the 184 pack of SIZE TWO PAMPERS SWADDLERS. I knew these would be bigger than the size one, of course, but I didn't realize just how much bigger it would make Ellie seem, too.

So, my little girl is growing and I've got to let her. Tonight I tried letting her have some "tummy time" and (no lie) after being on her tummy for less than 10 seconds, the girl had rolled over to her back. She was just NOT interested in being on her tummy when she could dazzle me with her amazing feat of rolling over and over and over and over....

I can't tell you how wonderful it is to be her mommy. All I can say is that she takes my breath away.

I love that little girl.
